A laneway longer than 400 feet
A laneway over 400 ft is the Grand Estate price plus $200 for every additional 100 ft. We quote that from the length, not from a site visit.
We measure it from the road to the garage on the satellite view and read you the number.
The one off work, and why it is priced differently
The items measured off the lawn, not off the lot
The lawn work is priced on measured turf rather than on your band. A three acre lot carrying a house, a laneway and an acre of bush is not a three acre lawn.
| Service | On an estate property |
|---|---|
| The Full Lawn Restoration | $1,250 over the Large size, plus $250 per additional 5,000 sq ft. |
| Spring or fall cleanup | $650 and up on an estate lot, $975 and up on a grand estate. |
| Weekly mowing without a membership | Priced off the acreage rate, never the $75 subdivision floor. |
| Core aeration | $220 plus $45 per additional 5,000 sq ft. |
| Aeration and overseeding | $380 plus $75 per additional 5,000 sq ft. |
| Five step fertilizer program | $600 plus $110 per additional 5,000 sq ft. |

Plus HST. Mulch, hedges and beds are the same rate on every band, on the add-ons page.
Estate questions, answered with numbers
What does estate snow removal and lawn care cost in Durham Region?
On 0.35 to 1.0 acre the memberships are $229, $349 and $499 a month plus HST and the snow package alone is $1,750. From 1.0 to 3.0 acres it is $329, $519 and $739 a month, and $2,600 for the season.
Is the estate price just the standard price with a markup?
No. An estate stop takes about two and a half times the route time of a standard one, while the membership sits at roughly 1.8 times standard.
When does the season start, and when should I book?
Snow runs November 1 to May 1 and the lawn runs May 1 to November 1. Book the winter by November 1. The route closes when it is full and it does not reopen, because an estate stop takes about two and a half times the route minutes of a standard one, and the morning runs out long before the interest does.
The part that costs us the sale, and we would rather say it
If you have a standard two car driveway on a subdivision lot, do not buy this. The standard seasonal snow package is $800 / $975 / $1,200 and it covers you completely. The estate band exists for the work, not for the house.
We would rather price you correctly and keep you for ten winters than sell you a band you do not need once.
The rest of the estate pages
If the lot has not been measured yet, start with the two numbers rather than the band. Our Oshawa guide walks through taking them and shows, to scale, where an Oshawa by-law will and will not let a pile stand: snow removal for large driveways in Oshawa.
Long driveway snow removal
Circular driveways, third bays, and why length past 100 feet changes the job.
Acreage snow removal
Gravel, distance, and where the snow goes once the banks have built.
Estate lawn care
Weekly cutting on a large lot, and a cleanup measured in loads.
Large driveways in Oshawa
Measuring the two numbers, and the by-law that decides where the pile stands.

What three of our customers wrote on Google
Every word below is theirs, copied from the public listing. Three reviews, three five star ratings, nothing edited.
“Absolutely wonderful guy to deal with! He cares about improving the look of your property. Does excellent work and I highly recommend him”
“Andrew knocked on my door in Oshawa and I signed up for snow removal before the first storm. He walked the driveway with me, explained exactly when they clear and what happens on a smaller snowfall, and did not dodge a single question about price. Everything was in writing before I signed. I have dealt with plow guys who disappear by January, so knowing my driveway is on a route and I am not chasing anyone at 6 AM is worth it. Will update after the first storm.”
“I was delighted to meet Andrew yesterday. Andrew provided me with a fall cleanup, and I found him to be a very responsible worker. He went above and beyond by doing many extras for me. I also entrusted him with my winter services. I gave him consent to shovel the snow and salt my property for the full season.”

What happens in a drought? Do I still pay for a visit that did not happen?
We skip rather than cut, and we tell you why. Cutting a dormant lawn damages it. The payment does not change, because the payment is twelve equal instalments for a season rather than a charge per visit, and the same arrangement is what stops a twenty four storm winter costing you more than a four storm one. A contractor who mows on schedule through August because the schedule says so is charging you to hurt your grass.
One of these goes on each page and it is replaced monthly. If the question you have is not here, ask it: 905-244-5779.
