The three prices, before you read anything else
- Silver$129 a month plus HSTThe lawn plan. Weekly service in season and both cleanups. It does not plow the driveway, and it has no 7 AM target: Silver gets the windrow pass by 5 PM.
- Gold$189 a month plus HSTEverything in Silver, and the driveway plowed after every storm from the 3 cm trigger, to a 7 AM target after overnight snow. Most members are on this one.
- Platinum$279 a month plus HSTSequenced first, to a 6:30 AM target, with unlimited automatic salting and first choice of service day.
All three are billed in twelve equal payments, taken on the last day of the month, with the first taken on the last day of the month before service starts. With HST that is $145.77, $213.57 and $315.27. Prepay the year and take 5 per cent off. There is no deposit and no cancellation fee.

Why is it a monthly payment instead of per visit?
A per visit contractor bills you most when you least want it: May when growth peaks, February after a run of storms. Twelve equal payments even it out, and the risk of a bad winter sits with us. Each payment comes off on the last day of the month, and the first is taken on the last day of the month before your service starts.
Am I paying for nothing in January?
You get more than you paid for that month, and in July it balances the other way. Twelve payments cover one lawn season and one snow season.
When is my card charged?
On the last day of every month, automatically, with an emailed receipt. Nothing is charged when you sign up.
What happens if a payment fails?
We text and email you the same day with a link to update the card, and we try again. Most declines are just an expired or reissued card, and we would much rather sort it out than pause anything, so tell us first and we will agree a date. A declined payment carries a $40 fee under the membership agreement, and an account 15 or more days past due may have service paused until it is brought current.
Are the prices on the site what I will actually pay?
Yes, and publishing them is the point. The three prices cover a standard Durham lot, up to 0.35 acre with a single or double driveway. A bigger property is priced on a published band instead of individually: Estate from $229 a month, Grand Estate from $329, and only over three acres does the figure get settled on the call.
Do you charge extra for a big storm?
Never. Seasonal contracts are unlimited within a storm and across a season, with no cap on visits.
What about HST?
All prices are shown before HST, which is added to your invoice as required.

When do you come out?
When measured accumulation on the ground reaches 3 cm, never when a forecast says it might, where most Durham contractors start at 5 cm. Below that we salt instead on Gold and Platinum.
What time will my driveway be cleared?
After overnight snow our target is 7 AM for Gold and 6:30 AM for Platinum, and commercial and medical access properties run first, overnight. It is a target and not a guarantee, and the reason, the hours the machine runs and what happens in an eighteen hour storm are all set out once on the snow removal page.
Do I need to call you?
No. We come automatically after every qualifying storm. There is nothing to book.
What if it snows all day?
We clear you twice, at no extra charge. The first pass opens a lane out plus the walkway and steps. We return for the full clear once the snow stops.
What exactly do you clear?
Driveway curb to garage at full width, walkways to at least 90 cm, front steps down to the surface, and the entrance widened.
Will your plow hit my garage door?
No. The blade is stopped about two feet short of the garage doors and that last stretch is finished by hand with a snow blower. The driveway is still cleared curb to garage at full width. Only the tool doing the last two feet changes, because a steel blade and a garage door are a bad combination however careful the operator is.
Will you clear the windrow the city plow leaves?
On Gold and Platinum, yes, on the same visit. We take it last so the city plow cannot bury it again. A trip made only for the windrow is $45, included at Platinum.
Where does the snow go?
We plan the piles in November with March in mind, and we never push snow onto the road. Tell us early about any spot you would rather we left alone.
What if my driveway gets damaged?
We photograph it, tell you the same day and fix it. You hear it from us in January rather than find it yourself in April.
Do you salt automatically?
On Platinum, yes, whenever there is an ice risk. On Gold it is free on any visit we are already making. A salt only trip is $25.
I am on Silver. What happens after a storm?
We take the municipal windrow off the end of your driveway after every storm, on a daytime pass cleared by 5 PM, plus four banked clears a season on request: four times a winter you can ask for a full clear of the driveway, walkway and steps, exactly as a Gold member gets. The driveway itself stays yours on Silver, and there is no 7 AM target. The memberships page has the full comparison.

What happens on a weekly visit?
Four things in the same order: edge the driveway and walkways, mow, trim around every post and fence line, blow off every hard surface. Clippings go back onto the turf.
Why does my lawn look longer than my neighbour's?
We mow high on purpose: around three inches, three and a half in July heat. Taller grass grows deeper roots and shades its own soil. A low cut is the one that browns out in August.
What if it rains on my day?
Light rain we work through. Heavy rain or standing water we do not, because cutting a saturated lawn ruts and scalps it. We reschedule within 48 hours and text you.
Do you spray for weeds?
No. The Ontario cosmetic pesticide ban prohibits spraying a lawn for appearance. Density is the answer instead, which is what mowing at 7.5 cm and returning the clippings is for. Our five step fertilizer program is $300 to $600 a season, included on Platinum only.
What do you do with the clippings?
They go back onto your lawn on every cut, at no charge. They are around 85% water, break down within days and feed nitrogen back to the soil. They do not cause thatch.
My back gate is usually locked. What happens?
We do the front, text you and note it in your file. We never force a gate. Leave it unlocked or give us a code and we do the whole property.
When is the best time to aerate?
September into early October, and effectively only then, so book in August. Our aeration and overseeding guide explains why.

How do I get a quote?
Call, text, or fill in the form on the contact page. We look at your property, in person or on the map, and send a fixed monthly price the same day.
Do I have to sign anything in person?
No. You approve the quote online, which takes about two minutes on your phone.
Do I need to be home for service?
Not for anything. Tell us about gates, dogs and parking once and it goes in your file. You get photos after every visit.
Can I change memberships?
Any time. The change starts on your next billing cycle. Silver to Gold is the most common move, and most people make it before their first winter.
Can I cancel?
Yes: 30 days' written notice. Your membership runs as a twelve month agreement that renews automatically unless you tell us otherwise 30 days before your renewal date, and there is no cancellation penalty. Because the year is billed in twelve equal payments, if you leave part way through we settle up: you pay for the work already delivered against what you have paid, and anything prepaid and not delivered comes back to you.
What if I am not happy with a visit?
Tell us and we come back. It is cheaper for us to fix a visit than to lose a customer.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully: commercial general liability plus equipment coverage. We can send you a certificate.
Do you service commercial properties?
Yes. We quote commercial sites year round and are quoting the 2026 to 27 season now. Tell us when your current contract ends and we will time our follow up to it.

Residential clears at 3 cm, which is 1.2 inches. Commercial clears at 5 cm, which is 2 inches. Two depths, two contracts, and the numbers are never copied between them.
Always on, no code, no deadline
The two ways the price comes down
There are only two, they run all year, and they do not stack. We would rather publish both than have you find out one existed after you signed.
Prepay the year, take 5 per cent off
Pay the annual price up front and 5 per cent comes off it. That is $1,470.60 on Silver, $2,154.60 on Gold and $3,180.60 on Platinum, against $1,548, $2,268 and $3,348. It is raised as one invoice rather than a recurring charge, and it is open to new and renewing members.
Send a neighbour, 30 per cent off a month, each
When a member sends a neighbour who signs, both sides get 30 per cent off one month and neither side gets less than $50 off. A second neighbour in the same membership year earns a full free month instead, and there is no cap. How the neighbour offer works.
One offer per customer per month. If two apply, the referral is the one we honour, because that is the one somebody was promised in writing. The tier price itself is never discounted: $129, $189 and $279 are the published prices and the saving is already in them.

“The question I get asked most is what happens if you do not make it by seven. So here is the honest answer. Seven is a target, not a guarantee, and I say that on purpose, because the weather is not mine to promise. What is mine to promise is the order. Commercial and medical access go overnight. Platinum goes first, to six thirty. Then Gold, to seven. Then Silver, on a separate daytime pass, by five. That order does not change, and I do not move somebody up it because they telephoned me at six in the morning. If a storm beats the whole route, you get a first pass that opens a lane out, the walkway and the steps, and I come back for the full clear when the snow stops, at no extra charge. You will get a photograph either way. That is the deal, and it is the same deal in a four storm winter and a twenty four storm one.”
