Owner operated out of Oshawa, fully insured and HST registered. You deal with me from the quote to the last storm of the season. Brooklin is a fifteen minute run and it sits on the route, not at the edge of it.
Brooklin is not generic Whitby, and it should not be quoted like it
Most contractors quote Brooklin off a Whitby price list, and that price list was built around a south Whitby lot. That is how a homeowner north of Winchester ends up quoted a number that was never costed against their driveway.
The differences show up in the work. Lots north of Winchester are newer and wider than the older south Whitby grid, double driveways are the norm rather than the exception, and several streets have deep setbacks and long corner frontages. None of that is a complaint. It means the quote has to be built on your property rather than on an average.
The double driveway problem, and why a machine beats a shovel here
The windrow is the compacted ridge the municipal plow leaves across the foot of the driveway. It is the hardest snow of the storm and it lands on the one strip you have to drive through. A homeowner who cleared the driveway by hand at six and watched the plow refill the bottom three metres at nine is not annoyed about the snowfall. They are annoyed about the ninety minutes. On a wide double driveway, a machine turns most of an hour into a few minutes.
The neighbourhoods we run in
Brooklin, north of Winchester
The village core around Baldwin Street and the subdivisions north and east of it. Mature trees and tight driveways near the core, wide doubles on the newer streets.
Rolling Acres
Wide lots, long frontages and corner properties with walkways on two sides. This is where driveway plowing on Gold and Platinum earns its price fastest.
Williamsburg
Consistent lot sizes and a short walk from curb to door, which keeps the walkway part of the job small.
Taunton North
The transition between the Whitby grid and the Brooklin subdivisions. Mixed lot sizes, so a quote off an average is usually wrong one way or the other.
Pringle Creek
Established central Whitby with mature trees, which changes the lawn side more than the snow side.
What winter looks like on a Brooklin street
The trigger is 3 cm, measured on the ground, and at 3 cm or more the route rolls without anybody calling. Platinum is sequenced ahead of Gold, 6:30 AM against 7:00 AM, both targets rather than promises, and Silver takes a windrow pass in the afternoon. The route closes when it is full and does not reopen.
What it costs
Memberships are $129, $189 or $279 a month plus HST. Twelve equal payments, taken on the last day of each month, covering both seasons. Silver takes the windrow on a daytime pass by 5 PM and does not plow the driveway. Gold and Platinum clear it in full, at a 7 AM target on Gold and a 6:30 AM target on Platinum. Annual prepay saves 5 per cent. All three memberships, compared.
The launch offer runs to August 23, 2027: a new member gets 30 per cent off the first month before HST. Offers never stack, one per customer per month.
Frequently asked questions
Do you serve Brooklin?
Yes. Brooklin, Rolling Acres, Williamsburg, Taunton North and Pringle Creek are on the regular route, with the rest of Whitby.
How much is snow removal in Brooklin?
Memberships are $129, $189 or $279 a month plus HST in twelve equal payments, covering both seasons. Per visit clearing in this market runs roughly $79 to $129 each time, driveway only.
Will you clear the ridge the plow leaves at the end of my driveway?
Yes, on every tier. Gold and Platinum take it with the morning driveway clear, and Silver gets a daytime windrow pass by 5 PM.
Which membership is best for a wide double driveway in Rolling Acres?
Gold or Platinum. Gold carries a 7 AM target after overnight snow and Platinum is sequenced first at a 6:30 AM target with unlimited automatic salting.
Brooklin is served from Whitby, and priced there
Brooklin sits inside the Whitby service area and is on the same winter route. Residential snow removal in Whitby and Brooklin is one service with one price list, so the figures on the snow removal in Whitby page are the figures here.
The same is true of the summer. Lawn maintenance in Whitby covers Brooklin, weekly from May 1 to November 1, on the same day every week. Grass cutting in Whitby and lawn care in Whitby are the two names for it.

On the route, counted October 13, 2026
Nineteen properties, and which towns are still open
- Oshawa11 properties
- Whitby2 properties
- Bowmanville2 properties
- Pickering1 property
- Newcastle1 property
- Brooklin1 property
- AjaxOpen. You would be the first
- CourticeOpen. You would be the first
In north Oshawa that means MacInally Court, Fleetwood Drive, Clearbrook Drive, Wadebridge Crescent, Iribelle Avenue, Surrey Drive and French Street. Further south it means Harris Avenue, Goodman Drive, Ritson Road South and Athol Street East. There are two commercial sites as well, one of them on King Street West.
Nineteen is not a lot and we are not going to dress it up. It is the first year. What it does mean is that every one of those driveways is on a route somebody can name, and that if your town says open above, you would be the first one on it rather than the last one served. Counted by hand from the client list and re-counted on the day a contract is signed.
Andrew answers, October 2026
Why is your season longer than everybody else's?
Because November and April are when the awkward storms happen, and a season that ends on March 31 ends three weeks before the last one. November 1 to May 1 is six months and both ends of it are published, which is the part that matters: a season you can read is a season you can hold me to.
One of these goes on each page and it is replaced monthly. If the question you have is not here, ask it: 905-244-5779.
Get a fixed monthly price for your property
Send me the Brooklin address and the width of the driveway and you will have a fixed monthly price the same day. If a membership is not the right answer for your property, I will tell you what is.
Green in summer. Clear in winter.
