What the offer actually is
When a member sends a neighbour and that neighbour signs up, both sides get 30 per cent off one month, and neither side ever gets less than $50 off. That is $50 on Silver, $56.70 on Gold and $83.70 on Platinum, to each of you. Send a second neighbour in the same membership year and you get a full free month instead.
There is no cap on how many you send and no code to remember. Tell us the address, or tell them to use ours and name you.
Why it exists, and it is not generosity
A snow route is priced by the time between properties, not by the time on them. The cycle is about six minutes on a property and two and a half minutes driving, so two driveways on the same street cost less to serve than two driveways eight minutes apart. Four of them on one street is the difference between a route that finishes at 6:40 AM and a route that does not.
So the 30 per cent is not a thank you. It is a share of a real saving, and the reason it is worth paying is the same reason we would rather have four driveways on your street than four scattered across the region.
Neighbours who sign together get cleared together
Properties on the same street sit next to each other in the route, which means you are cleared within minutes of each other rather than hours. In a storm that is the difference people actually notice: the whole street is done and nobody on it is standing in the driveway at seven in the morning wondering whether they were forgotten.
How to send somebody
- Tell them to send their address through the quote form and put your street in the last box, or just text us their address yourself.
- They get a real number the same day, the same as anybody else. Nothing about the quote changes because they were referred.
- When they sign, the discount goes on both of your next invoices. You do not have to ask for it and you do not have to chase it.
One offer per customer per month, which is the only condition. If you are already on the new member offer, the referral is the one we honour, because you were promised it in writing.
Questions people actually ask
Do I have to be a member to refer somebody?
Yes. Somebody has to be doing the referring, and the reward goes to a member on their next invoice. If you are not a member yet and a neighbour sent you, tell us their street and they get theirs.
Is there a limit on how many neighbours I can send?
No. The first one in a membership year earns 30 per cent off a month with a $50 floor. Every one after that in the same year earns a full free month.
Does my neighbour get a worse price because I was paid?
No. The quote is worked out from their property, the same way yours was, and the 30 per cent comes off their first month on top of it.
Can I stack the referral with another offer?
No. One offer per customer per month. If two apply, the referral is the one we honour, because that is the one somebody was promised in writing.

Is the 3 cm trigger measured at my house or somewhere else?
On the route, not at an airport. Three centimetres is the depth at which a residential driveway stops being something you can drive out of, so that is where the number is set. Below it we are still out, but it is salt and the walkway rather than the blade, and that happens without you asking for it.
