Sent here from a group post
The short version, for neighbours who found us in a group.
Nineteen properties on the route and three reviews on Google. Everything a group member would otherwise ask.
Green in summer. Clear in winter.
You were probably sent here from a group post
If somebody in a Durham Facebook group recommended us, or we answered a question in one, this page is the short version so you do not have to read the whole site.
What Northline is
An owner who quotes the property, does the work and answers the phone. That is the whole business. It is the first winter, there are nineteen properties on the route as of October 13, 2026, and there are three reviews on Google rather than three hundred. We are not going to pretend otherwise, because you can check all of it in about two minutes.
The numbers, so nobody has to ask in the comments
- Memberships are $129, $189 and $279 a month plus HST, in twelve equal payments. No deposit and no cancellation fee.
- Snow on its own for the season is $800, $975 or $1,200 plus HST for a standard property, depending on the driveway.
- The residential route clears at a measured 3 cm. Nobody has to call.
- Gold and Platinum have a 7 AM and a 6:30 AM target after overnight snow. They are targets and not guarantees, and the long answer is here.
- Every visit is photographed.
What we will not do in a group
We will not post a price under somebody else’s recommendation thread, we will not argue with another operator in the comments, and we will not post into a group that has asked businesses not to. Groups are somebody else’s room and we read the rules before we say anything in one. If you want a price, the fastest route is the address, right here.
If you want to check us rather than take a stranger’s word
The three Google reviews are here in full, one page each, with nothing trimmed. The work is photographed here. The insurance, the CVOR and the WSIB account exist and we will send the certificates to anybody who asks before they sign anything.
Questions people actually ask
Are you actually local?
Oshawa owned and Oshawa based. The route runs Pickering to Newcastle and the truck goes home to Oshawa.
Why is your review count so low?
Because the business is new. Three reviews, all five stars, all from this season, and every one of them is on the site in full rather than cherry picked.
Do you do one off jobs or only memberships?
Both. A one off lawn cut is $40 to $75, weekly mowing without a membership starts at $75 a cut plus HST, and the full list is on the add ons page.
How fast do you actually reply?
The median reply to a quote request through this website is 1 hour 51 minutes, measured across every request since the form went live. Eleven of seventeen were answered the same calendar day.
Andrew answers, October 2026
Why is the morning clearing time a target rather than a promise?
Because a promise about the morning is a promise about the weather, and nobody can make one of those honestly. What I can promise is where you sit in the route and the order the route runs in, and both of those are published on this site. In eighteen years of Oshawa data the worst winter had twenty four clearing days and the mildest had four, and a promise written to survive the worst of those is a promise priced for it. A target I actually hit is worth more to you than a promise I have quietly priced the risk of breaking.
One of these goes on each page and it is replaced monthly. If the question you have is not here, ask it: 905-244-5779.
Get a fixed monthly price for your property
Send the address and you get a real number the same day. If a membership is not good value for your property, we will say so.
